Prompt clusters

Clusters are thematic groups that let you organize prompts into categories and compare results across topics.

Why use clusters?

Clusters make it possible to:

  • Segment the analysis — which topic has the lowest visibility?
  • Cluster SOV — share of voice by topic, not only globally
  • Identify gaps — a cluster with a low score can point to an area to improve
  • Report results — metrics by category for stakeholders

How do you create a cluster?

  1. In the project view, open the Clusters tab
  2. Click New cluster
  3. Enter a name
  4. Optionally add a description
  5. Save

How do you assign a prompt to a cluster?

When creating or editing a prompt, select the cluster from the dropdown list.

One prompt = one cluster (or no cluster).

Cluster metrics

In the cluster view, you will see:

MetricDescription
Cluster SOVShare of brand mentions inside the cluster
VisibilityAverage Visibility Score for prompts in the cluster
PromptsNumber of prompts and the latest snapshot

Cluster SOV vs. Brand SOV

  • Brand SOV — global, for the entire project
  • Cluster SOV — local, only for prompts in a given cluster

Cluster SOV can differ significantly from Brand SOV. A brand may have 40% Brand SOV but only 10% Cluster SOV in the “Competitor comparisons” cluster.

Best practices

  • Use 3–5 clusters per project
  • One cluster = one intent
  • Regularly review clusters with the lowest Cluster SOV
  • Create separate clusters for competitor-focused prompts if you want clearer Competitive Positioning insights
