What is a prompt?
A prompt is a question or instruction that GEORate sends to the AI model during each snapshot. The AI responses to these questions are the basis for all metrics.
Why are prompts so important?
Your prompts define the context in which you monitor your brand. Different questions give different perspectives:

How do you write good prompts?
✅ Good prompts
- They are natural — the way a real user would ask AI
- They are broad enough for AI to mention multiple brands
- They concern an industry or problem where your brand should appear
- They are specific about the market segment or context
❌ Bad prompts
- “Is [Your Company] good?” — too narrow
- “Compare all companies” — too broad
- Prompts with grammar mistakes or unnatural language
How do you add a prompt?
- Go to the project → click Add prompt
- Enter the question in natural language
- Optionally choose a thematic cluster
- Click Save
Editing and deleting prompts
Prompts can be edited or deleted in the project view. After you change the prompt text, the next snapshot will use the new version.
Note: Changing a prompt does not affect historical snapshots — older results remain assigned to the previous version.
